4 layers of luxurious natural cotton batting is processed at Natural Felt to exacting standards is then sandwiched between sheets of 1.5 pound density solid HR foam which produces an ideal balance of support. comfort and resiliency. The core of this futon is (1) 2 inch 1.5 pound density HR solid foam sheet. (2) additional sheets of 1 inch 1.5 pound density HR solid foam are layered between cotton above and below. All of the materials are protected by a heavy 100% cotton outer shell that features double-stitched seams. we then tuft our futons in order to keep all of the materials in place.
